not a whole lot to say at the moment. I've completed enrolement now, and have nothing to do til wednesday, and even thats only a tour of the libraries etc. Lectures start proper a week on tuesday, should be good.

Oh and for some reason or other i've ended up volunteering to be 1st year student rep for my course. Which'll be mildly amusing. I get to go to the staff meetings and be the voice of the people or something.

Also, i finally have my new camera. sweeet. Although i'm still waiting for a lense as they didn't have it in stock, but that should only be a few days, so all's good.

hardware failures suck arse. Well, England are out of the world cup. And I can honestly say i don't give a fuck :0P

Now don't get me wrong, its a shame they lost, but quite frankly it makes no difference to me. I didn't even watch the game, i woke up at 9:30 and figured i might as well stumble out of bed and find out the result, 5 minutes later i'd seen all the goals too. An extra 90 mins in bed well spent i feel.

it was fate tbh.

i get a phone call saturday afternoon from a mate asking what i wanted cos i'd just phoned him n left a garbled message. It would seem i had lent on my phone in my pocket and somehow hit the 20 odd key presses to get to his number and dialed him. Anyway, ends with me packing and being on a train to Nottingham about an hour later for a mad fun packed 4 day weekend.

ok so a brief summary for.. well my own reference more than anything else :0P

Once i'd got to Notts, i tracked down my pals at the pub, and we then headed back to the house for BBQ and a LOT of alcohol, much merriment was had, and Danny the silly drunken fool thought it'd be a good idea to jump off a 12 foot high wall on to the pavement below, his feet didn't appreciate the gesture, although it was pretty funny to be honest.

Later a group of us went to ye olde Rock City for d0ncing. and i almost killed my self on the dance floor as usual. Too damn hot down in The Basement, which is a shame cos its by far the best room in the place, best music, best people. Stil the sweat just adds to the atmosphere i guess :0)

Got home about 2:30, laughed at drunken cousin of Neil's, he'd fallen over on his way home, but claimed to have been mugged (still had his wallet though funnily enough). Went to bed shortly after - and i actually got a proper bed instead of the sofa for a change - thanks Jud. \o/ for in house relationships freeing up valuable beds for the needy.

Down to the funky Breakfast bar for ... well... breakfast. Considered going to watch the England game, but ended up taking Danny to A & E instead, since he still couldn't walk and we had to carry him back from the breakfast place. So Sunday afternoon was spent in the lovely Queens Medical Center a stone thow away from Notts Uni where i so spectacularly flunked a few years ago. Despite being stuck there, it was actually quite entertaining for the most, gave me a chance to get to know Danny, since i've only met him a couple of times before and everyone was very drunk both times. Quality fella it has to be said.

The rest of Sunday was a chill out, watched a few vids with ppl, thats about it.

Up early on monday to go Go-karting!!!! and what does it do? it rains. nm just meant that there wasn't a queue at the track, it was my first time and i loved it. Mad power sliding in the rain tbh. Monday evening we decended on the local chinese restaurant for an All You Can Eat buffet, and almost got away with only paying for 12 ppl when we had 13, but not quite. More video's after ( or possibely b4 i dont remember).

Tuesday, me n a couple of the lads went to see Episode 2, fuck me Yoda's a right little ninja. Came out the cinema and decided it was too late to start my homeward journey and i'd just have to stay another night :0)

Wednesday: got up, came home. uneventful journey for once \o/

And now i'm back in wonderful cambridge. Bah.

Well i've spent most of today in photoshop working out a layout for enticicle, and its looking quite spiffy tbh :0) and not to mention my l33t menu is only 14k including the rollover graphics. Well i'm pleased anyway so :0P Now i just need to work out how to stick it together in Dreamweaver.

Watched a couple of films last night, one of which was Jacobs Ladder, which i've not actually seen before (though heard the name). T'was rather good.

Oh and yay for the cat throwing up on my bed about a foot away from my face at 9am. Pah. Although it did get me up, maybe there's an ingenious idea for a marketable alarm clock in there somewhere :0)

hmmm, well been doing a bit of photoshoping this evening after admin duties for bwcsl, started work on an idea i've had for a while, still needs a fair bit of work but the concepts sound i think, and should eventually look quite nifty if i do say so my self :0)

rah, little lockeh has a digi cam for the half term break ( mum nabbed it from the school she works at) well lockeh has a dv cam actually, but since no one's got a firewire card theres no point making vid's only still piccies. but raaah camera none the less. must make use of. lots.

so... anyways. i've been surfing about a lot of web journal type sites lately, reading about random ppl i don't know. i've also been checking out the webcam culture, there's really a quite a suprising number of webcam rings, about 6 different peoples cams per page. Its makes for quite a nice little community kinda thing, with ppl interacting over various pic's n stuff. I should point out that for the most part these aren't live web cams, just a single pic updated when ever, well where i'm going with this by the way is that i'm toying with getting my own cam. All part of the trying to "get out there" thing i'm on at the moment i supose.

Styleee lost again tonight, but unlike this week i dont really care, cos the game was good. Maybe we coulda won it if we'd played a little better at the start, but in any case who the fuck wants to be in Div2? We'd get fucked beyond return no doubt.

We're safe for staying put next season, and we've put in a respectable performance, and stand a good chance of ending joint 2nd on points still, with YO getting the promotion slot cos they beat us tonight.

This isn't my first venture in to the world of blog, but it is the first that I intend to make fully public, although tbh i doubt there's anyone out there who really gives a fuck about any of this, but thats no reason not to do it all the same. The reason for this blog is that i've decided to try and get myself "out there" rather than just hiding in my little corner wibbling to my self (which i'm still doing btw, just not in this particular blog). As yet i'm undecided on exactly what form this will take, i'd make it a journal of my days, but since i dont actualy do much it'd be rather dull. For now it'll probably just be the lighter side of my personal wibblings. Maybe i really will have knowledge to give at some point, I don't know yet. Either way I'm here and I'm here to stay.
